Low Cost Lot Tracking

There was a need to provide for lot tracking of supplies entering the production process at points distributed over the entire manufacturing site.

Operations Improvement US quickly designed, procured and integrated a very low cost system that:

1. Provided access to readily available USB devices on the facilities existing ethernet structure
   
   
2. Provided confirmation to the operator that the scan was received and saved
   
   
3. Inserted time stamped records into a database
   
   
4. Provides a browser based solution to retrieve records from anywhere in the facility
